Job summary

Actalent, a global engineering leader, seeks a Server Test Engineer for our fully onsite Whitsett, NC facility. You will lead testing and validation of high-volume server hardware, ensuring quality and alignment with global engineering standards.

Responsibilities include developing test plans for x86 servers, validating BIOS/UEFI and BMC, and driving issue resolution with engineering and operations to improve reliability. This is a permanent onsite role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

5+ years of server hardware testing and validation in manufacturing or data-center environments.
Experience with BIOS/UEFI and BMC configuration and testing.
Knowledge of server management protocols (Redfish/IPMI).

Responsibilities

Lead and support a team for server testing and validation in high-volume production.
Develop, maintain, and execute test plans for server hardware and firmware.
Analyze test results and communicate findings to cross-functional teams.
Document defects and drive corrective actions with engineering.
Support manufacturing readiness and continuous process improvement.
