Job summary

EPS Corporation seeks a Lead SSC Technician - Systems Administrator to provide direct oversight of Server Support Center (SSC) operations and ensure mission-critical servers run to plan. The role emphasizes DoD policy adherence, security controls, and reliable VMware-based environments.

You will lead tasks, coordinate with cyber liaison, perform patching, backups, and capacity management, and document all changes per change control processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or 6+ years in relevant roles.
• Experience with DoD/NIPRNet/SIPRNet/JWICS/NSANet.
• Proficiency with AD, Windows Server, VMware, and vSphere.
• ITIL best practices and backup/disaster recovery experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SSC task orders and provide weekly reporting.
• Install, configure, and maintain mission-critical servers in VMware.
• Manage patching, STIG compliance, and DR validation.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot hardware/software, ensure availability.
• Enforce cybersecurity policies and coordinate audits.
