Job summary

The organization in Washington, DC seeks a Systems Administrator to support the server compute environment, ensuring high availability, performance, and security for mission-critical operations.

You will install, configure, and maintain server systems, troubleshoot issues, apply upgrades, and maintain thorough documentation while complying with DIA CIO and federal standards. This role is on-site in the Washington, DC area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Security+ CE certification and TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph required.
• 7+ years of experience in enterprise server administration.
• Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux systems, and virtualization technologies.
• Strong understanding of RMF, FISMA, and federal IT standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain enterprise server systems to support operations.
• Troubleshoot server issues and manage upgrades and patches.
• Ensure system security and optimize performance in a high-availability environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document configurations and updates.
