Job summary

Brownells, Inc. is seeking a Senior SEO & Organic Growth Specialist to drive discovery and revenue across traditional search and AI-powered platforms. This hands-on role covers technical SEO, content strategy, AEO/GEO, and cross-functional collaboration to grow qualified traffic and eCommerce performance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in SEO or related digital marketing and a strong ecommerce mindset. The position is hybrid in Grinnell, Iowa, with an onsite expectation of 3–4 days per week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in SEO, eCommerce marketing, or related digital marketing discipline
• Strong knowledge of eCommerce SEO and content optimization
• Experience with keyword research, technical SEO audits, and performance analysis
• Proficiency with analytics platforms like GA and GSC

Responsibilities

• Execute and optimize SEO and organic growth initiatives to increase visibility, traffic, conversion, and revenue
• Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and trend research to identify growth opportunities
• Optimize product and category pages for discoverability, relevance, and conversion
• Perform technical SEO audits and suggest improvements to crawlability, indexation, and site performance
• Collaborate with developers, content teams, and merchandising to implement SEO recommendations
• Analyze organic performance and translate findings into actionable priorities
• Evolve AEO/GEO practices for AI-powered search experiences
• Identify content opportunities across the customer journey and monitor search changes
