Job summary

Harvey Nash is seeking a senior SEO & GEO specialist to ensure our websites are search and AI-friendly, scalable, and aligned with SEO best practices across multiple sites and regions. You will present requirements to developers and business partners and lead SEO improvement projects.

You will educate cross-functional teams on the benefits and strategy of SEO & GEO, stay ahead of algorithm updates, and develop governance and documentation to support enterprise web properties.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years related SEO experience, or a marketing degree with 4+ years in SEO.
• Ability to lead through influence across a matrix organization.
• Experience with international SEO and multilingual site structures.

Responsibilities

• Partner with web teams to integrate SEO into site builds, migrations, maintenance and redesigns.
• Identify and explain SEO & GEO strategies and deliver actionable insights.
• Use SEO tools and analytics for insights and monitoring across regions.
• Monitor site health, crawl stats, and index coverage via GSC/Bing tools.
• Create dashboards and reports to communicate performance and opportunities.
• Document SEO/GEO measurement best practices and processes.
• Develop technical requirements for enterprise-level SEO & GEO strategies.
• Lead site audits and provide actionable recommendations.
• Manage redirects, robots.txt, canonical URLs, sitemaps and hreflang testing.
• Advise on site architecture, internal linking, and URL structures.
• Ensure Core Web Vitals and mobile-first indexing compliance.
• Troubleshoot issues and report impacts, even at rapid pace.
• Stay ahead of algorithm updates and AI trends.
• Develop and enforce SEO governance and documentation.
• Provide SEO & GEO training to applicable audiences.
