Job summary

Walker Sands is seeking a Sr. Manager, SEO + GEO to drive strategic SEO and AI-related initiatives for B2B clients. You will lead technical audits, guide content and authority-building efforts, and partner with PR, content, and analytics teams to amplify results across channels.

You will collaborate with account leads and clients, mentor teammates, and shape measurement plans while staying ahead of search and AI trends in a fast-paced agency environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SEO experience in B2B environments.
• Experience improving visibility in AI-generated answers (GEO/AEO).
• Strong technical SEO, data analysis, and developer collaboration.
• Ability to translate research into practical client recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal client communications.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute SEO/GEO strategies with client leads.
• Manage multiple client workstreams, ensure quality, and delegate as needed.
• Conduct technical SEO and GEO audits and validate fixes.
• Research keywords, prompts, and AI inputs to guide content and authority.
• Develop content briefs and optimization recommendations aligned to goals.
• Lead measurement planning and reporting on performance, traffic, and AI visibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate findings to executives.
• Mentor junior staff and coach teammates on best practices.
