Job summary

Focus Digital is seeking a Senior Content Writer with SEO expertise to join our remote team in the United States. You will craft compelling, client-tailored content and ensure it is optimized for search engines across multiple industries.

You will produce 4 to 5 pages per day, work with editors, incorporate client feedback, and manage an AI-assisted workflow to deliver accurate, original content in the client voice.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional content writing experience.
• Demonstrated experience writing for multiple clients or stakeholders at the same time.
• Solid understanding of SEO principles (keyword research, on-page optimization, content structure for search).
• Strong knowledge of search intent and stages of buyer awareness
• Proven ability to research and write about a variety of topics/industries
• Experience incorporating editorial feedback and revising content based on client or team input

Responsibilities

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Content Writer with SEO expertise to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced writer who understands how to craft content that is both compelling for readers and optimized for search engines. You'll work with multiple clients across a variety of industries, producing high-quality strategic content that delivers results.

What You'll Do

• Develop and refine content in an AI-assisted workflow, using your judgment to make every piece accurate, original, and written in the client's voice
• Structure each piece around what the searcher wants and where they are in the buying process
• Research topics, develop personas, and fact-check your work before it's submitted
• Produce 4 to 5 pages a day on average
• Work with editors to refine your content
• Take client feedback and make corresponding revisions

Required Experience

• 3–5 years of professional content writing experience

• Proven ability to research and write about a variety of topics/industries
• Experience incorporating editorial feedback and revising content based on client or team input

Skills & Traits

• Strong writing fundamentals: grammar, clarity, structure, and storytelling
• Comfortable with project management tools (TeamWork experience preferred)
• Direct experience using AI tools strategically as part of the content workflow
• A track record of steady work while managing multiple deadlines
• Clear, professional communication style, especially when handling client-facing correspondence
• Ability to take initiative and work independently on assigned projects

Strongly Preferred

• Experience with content marketing or agency environments
• Background writing across multiple industries or verticals

This is a full-time position focused on content creation and SEO writing across multiple client accounts.
