Job summary

Single Grain, LLC is seeking an experienced SEO/AEO strategist to own a portfolio of client accounts from discovery to delivery. You will set roadmaps, build production agents, and report citations and pipeline, not rankings, while staying hands-on with AI-based research and workflow design.

Remote role with required overlap in US time zones; compensation ranges from $100,000 to $150,000 per year. You’ll work with our AI tools and internal platforms to drive measurable growth for B2B clients.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in SEO or organic growth with client-facing ownership.
• Shipped AI/SEO work we can inspect with citations and pipeline.
• One agent or workflow you built that removed real production work.
• Quantified results with baseline, period, and attribution.
• AI fluency in how answer engines retrieve and cite sources.
• Strong technical SEO, analytics, and prioritization.
• Steady tenure; internal promotions are a big plus.
• Ideal: specialist search agency or in-house growth team; B2B.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose client search demand, answer-engine visibility, technical health, content system, and conversion paths; set baselines and targets.
• Own the SEO/AEO roadmap for accounts and decide what ships next.
• Track answer-engine citations weekly across platforms; log results.
• Build and maintain production agents and workflows; enable teammates.
• Keep brief-to-publish under five working days with human checks.
• Lead client strategy calls with clear acceptance criteria.
• Report monthly in terms a GM would use: citations, traffic, pipeline or revenue.
• Write runbooks so the system runs without you at the keyboard.
