Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency looking for an SEO and AEO Strategist to own search for a book of B2B and growing-brand clients. You will shape technical roadmaps, content priorities, and the storytelling of ranking movements during client inquiries.

You will strategize technical SEO, keyword plans, and content priorities with writers and AI, while ensuring clients appear in AI search results as well as traditional organic results.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO with audits and fixes.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities with writers and AI.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.
