Suntory Global Spirits in Kentucky is seeking a Sr. Sensory Scientist to lead sensory consumer research and analytical methods guiding innovation, quality, and production across our spirits portfolio.

You will partner with Product Development, Marketing, Consumer Insights, and Operations, design testing plans with scientific rigor, and translate data into actionable recommendations to drive profitable growth. Expect cross-functional collaboration and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Statistics, Psychology, or related field.
• 6+ years in sensory and consumer research; 4+ years with Master's.
• Experience with beverages or distilled spirits preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead sensory and consumer research initiatives across stages from design to recommendations.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Marketing, and Operations to improve products.
• Design testing plans with scientific rigor and translate data into actionable insights.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Develop category appraisals and communicate results to diverse audiences.
• Travel domestically and internationally for research engagements (~10–30%).
