Qnity Electronics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Applications and Product Development Scientist to lead development, characterization, scale-up, and customer implementation of advanced electronic materials used in semiconductor manufacturing.

The role bridges lab innovation with manufacturing, product quality, and customer applications. The candidate will drive product commercialization, optimize process performance, improve yields, and solve complex technical challenges for customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of industrial experience in semiconductor materials or related fields.
• Hands-on experience in labs, fabs, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading product scale-up, transfers, and customer qualifications.
• Strong problem-solving, DOE, and statistical analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and commercialization of advanced electronic materials from formulation to customer qualification.
• Establish relationships linking material properties to process performance.
• Design and execute DOE studies in lab, cleanroom, and customer sites.
• Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain.
• Develop methods, test protocols, and process windows meeting customer requirements.
• Lead root-cause investigations and drive CAPA across teams and partners.
• Support installation, qualification, optimization, and troubleshooting at sites.
• Prepare technical reports and commercialization documentation.
