Job summary

Qnity is seeking a Senior Scientist/Engineer to spearhead the development, commercialization, and advancement of innovative materials technologies. This role requires a technical expert with deep scientific knowledge, strong project leadership, and a passion for solving complex challenges.

The successful candidate will drive research and product development, collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, and support delivery of next-generation materials solutions for customers and the business.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent advanced experience.
• Proven experience leading research and commercialization programs.
• Strong design of experiments, data analysis, and scientific problem solving.
• Ability to lead projects and influence cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex R&D and product commercialization projects.
• Design and analyze experiments to advance new materials and processes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across programs.
• Mentor scientists and engineers through technical leadership.
• Document findings in reports, presentations, and publications.
• Travel to Cleveland, OH approx. 20% annually.
