Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Malta's Fab 8 site is seeking a Maintenance Technician to monitor, sustain and improve equipment while partnering with production and area engineers. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on tool sets and troubleshoot equipment issues.

Clear shift communications are essential. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of maintenance experience, mechanical/electrical skills, and proficiency with Excel and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Degree or equivalent.
• 2 years of maintenance-related experience.
• Electrical or mechanical experience with related training.
• Basic computer skills including Excel and Outlook.
• Willingness to work alternating day/night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment as required.
• Monitor, control, and test semiconductor equipment for readiness.
• Recover equipment after process interruptions and document status.
• Communicate end of shift passdowns to Lead Tech or Engineer.
