Job summary

Plasma-Therm LLC in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Senior Field Service Engineer IV to lead on-site installation, startup, and advanced troubleshooting of wet etch, clean, and plasma processing tools at a leading semiconductor facility.

You will manage complex fab escalations, perform preventive maintenance, craft SOPs and 8D reports, and mentor engineers while coordinating with Taiwan partners and domestic headquarters for rapid tool enablement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of direct field service or equipment engineering experience in semiconductor capital equipment manufacturing or advanced wafer fabs.
• Strong technical knowledge across wet processing, dry/vacuum systems, and cleanroom safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Overseas OEM training and product bring-up.
• Tool move-in, installation and commissioning at Phoenix site.
• Advanced technical troubleshooting and dual-platform support across wet etch and plasma systems.
• Customer account and escalation management, including daily updates with fab management.
