Job summary

Renesas Electronics in Palm Bay, FL is seeking an experienced Diffusion Equipment Maintenance Technician to support our wafer fabrication facility. You will troubleshoot and maintain diffusion equipment, contribute to safety and reliability, and work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Requires AS/AA or 5+ years in semiconductor manufacturing with hands-on maintenance of diffusion tools such as TMX 9000/10000 and VTR 6000/7000. Onsite, day and night shifts may be available.

Qualifications

• AS/AA in electrical or mechanical, military training, or 5+ years relevant work experience.
• 5+ years supporting Diffusion equipment and semiconductor-manufacturing environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment problems and implement solutions.
• Strong mechanical, pneumatic, vacuum, hydraulic, and robotic system knowledge.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
• Experience in installation, operation, repair and maintenance of electromechanical equipment.
• Excellent oral and written communication, problem solving, and SPC knowledge.

Job description

Renesas Electronics is looking for an experienced technician to fill the role of Diffusion Equipment Maintenance Technician supporting our wafer fabrication facility in Palm Bay, Florida. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent written and communication skills. This position offers development opportunities working for a leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance analog semiconductors. Education Requirements:

• AS or AA in electrical, mechanical, military training, or 5+ years relevant work experience.

Experience Requirements / Skills:

• 5+ years supporting Diffusion equipment: Thermco TMX 9000/10000, SVG VTR 6000/7000
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a semiconductor-manufacturing environment with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Equipment Maintenance Field.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex equipment problems; define and implement solutions.
• Strong mechanical skills:
• Demonstrable knowledge of pneumatic, vacuum, hydraulic, and robotic systems
• Strong electronic skills:
• Understanding and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Demonstrated knowledge in how to approach installation, operation, repair, and maintenance of electromechanical equipment.
• Demonstrated knowledge in diagnosing, testing, and repairing equipment by utilizing electrical repair procedures.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated problem solving ability
• Must have knowledge of SPC and know how it is used and implemented in the manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 40lbs.

This is an ITAR role - the candidate must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Person.

Additional Information

This position is 100% onsite in Palm Bay, FL.

Hours are on a compressed work week, 3 days- 7am to 7pm one week, and 4 days the next week. Both day and night shifts are available.
