Job summary

Compunnel Inc. is seeking experienced Equipment Maintenance Technicians III to support semiconductor manufacturing in a Class 100 cleanroom.

The role requires at least five years maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, with emphasis on vacuum, photolithography, or wet processing technologies. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing failures, improving tool uptime, and collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to enhance equipment

Qualifications

• Five years minimum semiconductor equipment maintenance experience, especially in vacuum, photolithography or wet processing/plating technologies.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of control systems and/or PLCs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and equipment tracking systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair semiconductor manufacturing equipment to identify root causes of failures.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance per procedures and schedules.
• Document maintenance activities and equipment data in tracking systems.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Leadership to improve equipment performance and KPIs.
• Increase uptime, reduce PM cycle times, and minimize wafer scrap.
• Support continuous improvement of maintenance procedures, reliability, quality, and efficiency.
• Assist in training and certifying maintenance team members.
• Follow cleanroom safety protocols and quality standards.
