Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking an Equipment Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team in a TD + HVM environment, building capabilities for a new US fab. You will drive equipment performance, optimize yield, and align priorities with Micron’s strategic objectives across sites while collaborating with global teams and external suppliers.

The role requires 5+ years in semiconductor equipment leadership, a science-related degree, and a proven track record of solving complex problems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of semiconductor equipment experience in leadership and team management.
• Bachelor's or higher in a science-related field or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing team structure, standards, and processes.
• Coaching and mentoring team members supporting their career development.
• Proven success in leading teams and solving complicated problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead an engineering team to achieve area goals, including improving equipment performance and installing new tools for a new fab.
• Develop the team’s strategic direction, allocate resources effectively, and maintain succession plans for key positions.
• Drive fab optimization to maximize output and yield, reduce operating costs, and maintain high quality standards.
• Support new tool installations and existing tool modifications, relocations, and removals while applying global best-known methods.
• Champion safety, People policies, cross-functional collaboration, and clear communication with team members, executives, and technical authorities.
• Good understanding of Agentic AI or willingness to learn Agentic AI to help developed efficient workflow.
