Job summary

Tower Semiconductor Ltd. in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a Customer Account Engineer to serve as the main point of contact for Tower customers, driving activities from design through end-of-life.

You will champion customer needs inside the company, collaborating with sales, operations, engineering and quality teams to align requirements with Tower's business goals and manage the full product lifecycle. The ideal candidate has a engineering or science degree, 5+ years in semiconductor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science fields. Emphasis in Semiconductor manufacturing is preferred. MBA preferred but not necessary.
• 5+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of customer account management experience.
• Knowledge of semiconductor process flows (including mask layers), Mask Cad and Probe processes for inline changes with customers.
• Experience in process integration or product engineering is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of PROMIS preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Project, Office, data collection and analysis systems and SAP (preferred).
• Working knowledge of quality systems standard (9001, 14001, TS16949) and industry standards (JEDEC).
• Proven capabilities in project management and people management will be a plus.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Main point of contact for Tower customers, driving activities from design through end-of-life.
• Champion customer needs within the organization, collaborating with sales, operations, engineering and quality teams.
• Manage the complete product lifecycle from initial design win to final ramp-down.
• Coordinate with yield and engineering to resolve product-related issues.
• Ensure tape-ins occur on schedule with customer engineering teams.
• Publish and drive action items from customer meetings and quarterly business reviews.
