Job summary

Intel Corporation, located in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Senior Automation Systems Integration Engineer for its Foundry Back-End Automation (BEA) team. You will lead the design, development, and deployment of automation software across TD and high-volume semiconductor manufacturing, integrating equipment control, MES, yield management, and SPC to optimize throughput and quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field.
5+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing automation, systems integration, or related areas.
3+ years' experience with yield management systems (YMS), statistical process control (SPC), and automated yield/SPC workflows.

Responsibilities

Architect, develop, and deploy automation solutions across wafer prep, die prep, and assembly test manufacturing.
Interface with semiconductor manufacturing equipment, MES, and automation systems.
Partner with manufacturing, equipment engineering, IT, process engineering, and quality teams to translate business needs into automation solutions.
Maintain and improve software architecture for scalability, robustness, and maintainability.
Lead root‑cause analysis and system‑level debugging for complex integration issues.
Lead technical discussions, mentor junior engineers, and drive best practice adoption across the automation team.
Explore emerging disruptions to identify opportunities to influence product roadmaps with automation insights.
