Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in data engineering, data modeling, analytics engineering, or related field.
• Experience designing conceptual, logical, physical, and dimensional data models.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Experience designing and delivering production data products in Snowflake.
• Experience with semantic layers and metadata for AI and analytics.
• Experience with source control, code review, automated testing, deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver trusted Snowflake data products for business domains.
• Build and maintain the semantic layer with shared concepts, rules, and measures.
• Implement semantic data products using Snowflake Cortex views and AI capabilities.
• Validate semantic data products for accuracy and performance.
• Develop and maintain verified queries and regression tests; improve AI outputs.
• Capture definitions and lineage in machine-readable formats and publish to enterprise catalog.
• Lead semantic-modeling initiatives from discovery to deployment with cross-functional teams.
