Allstate in the United States seeks a Senior AI Engineer to join the Enterprise Intelligence Factory team and build the semantic ontology platform that generates business-ready schemas from diverse data sources. You will design agentic AI pipelines using RDF/OWL, SPARQL, and LLMs at scale.

This hands-on senior IC role emphasizes core platform capabilities, collaboration with data architects and governance to ensure quality, security, and scalable adoption across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong Python and GenAI.
• Hands-on experience building LLM-based systems using commercial or open-source models.
• Solid understanding of semantic technologies: RDF, OWL, ontologies, knowledge graphs, and SPARQL.
• Experience with agentic AI frameworks (e.g., Google ADK, LangChain agents).
• Strong data engineering background (ETL/ELT, star schemas, metadata-driven pipelines).
• Experience on cloud platforms, preferably Azure / Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in ambiguous, greenfield projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain agentic AI pipelines (Google ADK or similar) to automate semantic mapping.
• Create and evolve enterprise ontologies in RDF/OWL for reusable semantics.
• Engineer LLM-powered services for schema understanding, semantic alignment, and metadata generation.
• Implement SPARQL querying and reasoning layers over knowledge graphs.
• Architect Python-based microservices and batch pipelines integrating semantic reasoning.
• Build dimension and fact generation pipelines on Microsoft Fabric to produce star schemas.
• Define and enforce engineering standards, patterns, and reusable components.
• Partner with data architects and governance teams to validate semantics and ensure scalability.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and influence technical decisions.
