Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Segment Schedule Manager to lead the development, maintenance, and monitoring of the segment's integrated project schedule across design, procurement, permitting, and construction in a major express lanes project in the US.

You will coordinate with engineering, construction, and commercial teams to define sequencing, critical paths, and interfaces, monitor progress, report KPIs, and ensure schedule compliance with contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in project scheduling, with at least 5 years in large-scale infrastructure or transportation projects.
• Proficiency in scheduling tools (Primavera P6 preferred).
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with self-perform scheduling is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of the segment’s integrated project schedule across all phases (design, procurement, permitting, and construction).
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and commercial teams to define activity sequencing, critical paths, and key interfaces.
• Analyze schedule performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to meet project milestones.
• Collaborate on resource planning and allocation (labor, equipment, materials) to support timely execution.
• Monitor progress and generate detailed reporting (narratives, look-aheads, KPIs) for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure schedule compliance with contractual requirements, project goals, and industry best practices.
