Valmont Industries, Inc. in Omaha, Nebraska seeks a strategic leader to serve as Vice President, Segment General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary.

You will act as senior legal advisor to a Valmont business segment, partnering with segment leadership to provide practical, risk-balanced guidance supporting growth and governance. You will lead complex transactions, board governance, subsidiary management, and strategic initiatives, reporting to the Chief Legal Officer.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 12 years of corporate, transactional, commercial, or business law experience.
• Experience leading mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic transactions.
• Strong knowledge of public company governance, SEC reporting, and NYSE standards.
• Experience managing outside counsel and legal budgets.

Responsabilités

• Lead negotiations and structure complex commercial agreements and transactions.
• Provide strategic legal guidance for acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.
• Oversee board governance, subsidiary governance, and corporate records.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives and risk management.
• Manage outside counsel, budgets, and governance materials for boards.
