Job summary

Elbit America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Staff Systems Engineer - Seeker SME to lead the design, development, integration, testing, and validation of SAL, EO/IR, and RF seekers for precision-guided weapons.

You will drive algorithm development, performance simulations, and end-to-end terminal guidance for all-up rounds, partnering with optical, software, electrical, mechanical, GNC, and production teams. The ideal candidate has deep laser-seeker physics, radar architectures, signal processing,

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in SAL, Imaging and RF seekers and end-to-end integration.
• Experience with MBSE and SysML/Cameo for system architecture.
• Hands-on HWIL/SWIL testing and validation capabilities.
• Familiarity with countermeasure rejection and threat environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical authority for SAL, EO/IR and RF seeker tech.
• Lead seeker architecture, requirements, and trade studies across domains.
• Direct design, development, integration, testing, verification, and validation.
• Develop performance models for SAL, Imaging, and RF seekers.
• Generate automated calibration and verification workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready seekers.
• Engage with customers and business development to shape roadmaps.
