Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a mid- to senior-level Sediment Remediation Engineer to lead and perform sediment remediation projects for Federal and Public sector clients, with independence and team leadership.

The role includes evaluating remediation technologies, designing sediment remediation solutions, and serving as a technical liaison with clients and stakeholders. You will guide staff to deliver technically sound documents that meet regulatory requirements and project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline is required.
• Professional engineer (PE) license is required.
• 7 years of related experience; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise evaluating sediment remediation technologies and design for riverine, coastal, riparian/floodplain, and/or port settings.
• Lead and coordinate team members on sediment sites and communicate technical strategy to clients.
• Assist with mathematical/statistical evaluations of environmental data sets and ensure compliance with CERCLA, GLBA and other regulatory steps.
