Job summary

i2G Systems is seeking a Lead Technician to manage site installations and coordinate multiple teams, subcontractors, and client communications for security solutions. The role emphasizes hands-on installation, testing, and training of control systems.

The successful candidate will work with internal teams and clients, with a path to project leadership and progression into broader project management roles. Availability for on-site work and travel as needed is required.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of physical/electronic security experience.
• Familiarity with access control platforms (Lenel/Genetetec preferred).
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple technicians and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Follow and track project scheduling.
• Direct subcontractor and internal resource communications.
• Manage and coordinate multiple technicians and subcontractors.
• Read and understand specifications and drawings; maintain documentation.
• Perform installation and training on control systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain security systems for customers.
• Coordinate project activities with internal and external teams.
• Document and implement project changes.
