Job summary

Prime Partners in Rancho Cucamonga, CA seeks a Security Foreman to lead commercial low voltage and security installation projects from start to finish. You will supervise field technicians, coordinate daily activities, and serve as the main field contact for project managers, customers, and subcontractors.

You will install, troubleshoot, and program access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems, read construction drawings fluently, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial low voltage and security installation and service.
• 4+ years supervising technicians in the field.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specs.
• Experience troubleshooting security systems, networks, and devices.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CA driver's license, clean record, insurance.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work at heights.
• Willing to overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial low voltage and security installation projects from rough-in to closeout.
• Supervise and mentor field technicians daily.
• Coordinate daily job site activities, material staging, and crew assignments.
• Serve as primary field contact for PMs, customers and subcontractors.
• Install, troubleshoot, and program access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.
• Read and interpret drawings and specs.
• Verify installations meet code and quality standards.
• Enforce OSHA safety on job sites.
• Manage project docs including logs and change orders.
• Keep projects on schedule and report progress to PM.
• Troubleshoot field systems and connected devices.
• Train technicians to build crew capability.
