ByteDance seeks a Senior Security Systems Engineer to embed on its Security Technology team. The role focuses on server infrastructure for Lenel OnGuard and Avigilon CCTV, with upgrades, patches, and database management.

The position is full-time, hybrid, onsite four days weekly at the San Jose office, with one remote day. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in enterprise security systems and strong collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience engineering and supporting enterprise physical security systems.
• Strong hands-on with Lenel OnGuard and Avigilon CCTV systems.
• Experience administering enterprise servers, OS updates, and patches.
• Experience with SQL databases, backups, and performance management.
• Certifications in Lenel OnGuard preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize the server infrastructure for physical security systems.
• Manage upgrades, OS updates, security patches, backups and maintenance.
• Monitor health, performance, availability and capacity; resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot server, application, database, and integration issues.
• Support security system architecture across servers, apps, databases, networks.
• Maintain SQL databases, backups, health, data integrity.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for integrations and enhancements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and diagrams.
