Qualifications

• Comprehensive administration and engineering experience across both Linux and Windows in mission-critical client/server setups.
• Security compliance frameworks, baseline hardening, security protocol enforcement, and vulnerability patching.
• Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining networking devices (Cisco, Juniper, Arista) and core services (AD/LDAP/Centrify/GP).
• Automation techniques, containerization, and Kubernetes orchestration environments.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and communicate technical challenges effectively.

ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIRED

We are seeking a versatile, mission-focused Systems Engineer & Systems Administrator with strong automation and security compliance experience to join a tight-knit, high-impact team. In this role, you will safeguard the integrity, performance, and security posture of critical client/server environments and network infrastructure. You will bridge traditional system administration with modern infrastructure automation—managing cross-platform Windows/Linux systems, maintaining containerized services, configuring network devices, and ensuring strict compliance with security protocols. Working directly alongside end-users and customer stakeholders, you will bring exceptional problem-solving and proactive communication to keep high-priority defense systems resilient and battle-ready.

The annual base salary range for this role is $133,000-$157,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.

Required Skills

Desired Skills

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience using automation platforms (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Terraform) to streamline configuration management and infrastructure deployments.
• Virtualization & Cloud Environments: Familiarity with virtualized infrastructure (e.g., VMware) and cloud-hosted enterprise workloads.
• Agile Collaboration: Experience working within Agile frameworks and using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) to manage operational tasks and system tickets.
