Job summary

IES Communications is seeking a skilled Security Designer in Arizona to contribute to innovative security system designs and collaborations with project teams. The role entails engaging with clients, reviewing architectural documentation, and developing comprehensive security solutions using advanced technologies and designs.

Ideal candidates will have a deep understanding of the latest security products and will be responsible for creating detailed documentation for installation processes. The role includes engaging in technical support and ensuring project standards align with IES’s high-quality objectives.

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to read architectural, mechanical, and electrical (MEP) drawing sets.
• Experience designing with the latest Security products including Avigilon, Bosch, Genetec, and Honeywell.
• Ability to produce advanced Security designs including system line diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Develop Security systems recommendations.
• Review submittals of shop drawings, coordinating with architects and contractors.
• Create system integration documents, including Basis of Designs and CSI Specifications.
