Job summary

i2G Systems is seeking a remote Pre-Sales Security Engineer to deliver engineering design and support for security solutions for new and existing clients. The role collaborates with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project success.

Ideal candidates have 3–7 years in the industry, experience in access control and video systems, and certifications in leading security platforms. This is a remote position offering opportunities to engage with national clients.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3–7 years of experience in the industry.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; experience may substitute.
• Experience in designing and planning access control and video systems.
• Professional electronic security certifications or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Possess thorough understanding of standard electronic security technologies (ACS, IDS, FDS, CCTV).
• Review architectural, electrical, telecommunication, and security drawings.
• Design, develop and implement solutions for installations, upgrades, repairs, and conversions.
• Review Field Site Survey docs and assist with RFI/RFP responses.
• Create solution design docs (drawings, BOMs, summaries).
• Provide technical support for in-office and on-site teams.
• Assist management in documenting new technology implementations for customers.
• Stay familiar with current and emerging electronic security technologies and vendors.
