Job summary

ISCorp is seeking a Senior Security Systems Administrator to lead the security infrastructure across hosted and internal environments. You’ll deploy, monitor, harden, and support critical security technologies including SIEM, EDR/XDR, and identity controls.

You will partner with Infrastructure, Network, Engineering, Operations, and Compliance, mentor junior staff, and drive remediation and automation to strengthen defenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive experience in systems administration or security roles.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise security tools and identity controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead administration and optimization of security platforms (SIEM, EDR/XDR, vulnerability mgmt).
• Investigate and respond to complex security alerts and incidents.
• Design alerting logic, dashboards, and detection rules for SIEM.
• Lead security hardening of Windows, Active Directory, and supporting infra.
• Oversee patching strategy for servers and endpoints and coordinate remediation.
• Mentor junior admins and participate in on-call escalation.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve visibility and resilience.
