Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is seeking a Security Officer to join the Tongue Point Job Corps Center in Astoria, OR. You will perform security duties and supervise staff to protect life and property on assigned shifts.

• Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Perform security officer duties and supervise staff to protect life and property on assigned shifts.
• Ensure physical security of buildings, vehicles, and property by checking doors, windows, lights, and equipment.
• Coordinate guard coverage and check-in/check-out of staff and students.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and fire agencies as needed.
