Job summary

Management & Training Corporation is seeking a dedicated professional to oversee residential living operations at the Tongue Point Job Corps Center in Astoria, OR. The role focuses on dormitory management in line with government and company directives, ensuring safe and clean living spaces for students.

You will work under the guidance of the program manager, supporting budgeting activities, enforcing policies, and coordinating student participation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary degree preferred.
• Two years’ experience working with youth; one year in a supervisory capacity.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency required.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist the manager, group life in the preparation of the departmental budget, monitor and control expenditures.
• Establish implement and supervise control procedures to maximize student living standard, and coordinate student participation.
• Inspect dormitory areas for cleanliness and unauthorized materials and ensure facility maintenance is done when needed.
• Ensure incidents of misconduct are reported promptly and accurately.
