Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is seeking a part-time security assistant at Tongue Point Job Corps Center in Astoria, Oregon. The role focuses on patrols, front-desk operations, badge distribution, and safeguarding staff and students.

Qualifications

One year's security experience.
Ability to lift 50-70 pounds occasionally and climb stairs frequently.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Patrols Center grounds and monitors front desk for guest sign-in and badge distribution.
Ensure the safety of staff, students, and visitors; monitor ID badges.
Maintain logs; write incident and accident reports.
Conduct searches and student/visitor check-in/check-out procedures.
Operate telephone switchboard and radio dispatch at main gate.
Provide positive, quality customer service to students and staff.
Transport students as needed.
Assist with development of safety policies and procedures.
Participate in student employability programs and activities.
