Job summary

Apple Inc. in Seattle, WA seeks a Senior Security Site Reliability Engineer to join ASE Security SRE. You’ll partner with identity, token issuance, and access management teams to secure and run critical services used by Apple’s customers.

You’ll define/own SLOs, lead incident response, and drive reliability and observability at scale. This role requires deep systems expertise, on-call experience, and collaboration with product and platform engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in SRE or infrastructure-focused role.
• Experience with distributed systems at scale and high availability.
• Programming in Golang or Swift.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams on design, capacity planning, and operational readiness ahead of launch.
• Own or co‑own SLOs, error budgets, and incident response for services in the aligned area.
• Participate in on‑call for the services you support, alongside the development team.
• Drive reliability and observability improvements as a standing part of the team's engineering work.
• Represent operational health in planning and review forums for the area.
