Apple Inc. is seeking a Security Site Reliability Engineer to join the Apple Service Engineering team in Seattle.

You will design, implement, and operate secure, scalable infrastructure for critical services and help define minimum security baselines and threat-based mitigations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to harden systems, automate security and reliability tooling, and ensure 24/7 availability of essential Apple services such as iCloud, Maps, and Siri while upholding

Competenze

10+ years in a Site Reliability Engineering infrastructure focused role.
Significant experience in Python, Golang, Java, Rust, C#, or C++.
Deep knowledge of Linux security primitives, systems, packaging, container security and SELinux.
Strong understanding of operating systems concepts including multi-threading, memory management, networking and storage, performance and scale.
Experience running Tier 1 services for 24/7 support.
Experience with large scale, highly available distributed systems.
Understanding of SRE principles: monitoring, alerting, error budgets, fault analysis.
Understanding of MacOS security primitives is a bonus.
Certs like OSCP, OSCE, OSEE are helpful but not vital.
