Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Security Engineering team in shaping the foundations of our security services. You will own identity and access controls, build secure libraries, and drive production-grade reliability for enterprise-scale platforms.

You will work across IAM, authN/authZ, and secrets management, partnering with product and engineering teams to raise the bar on security while delivering fast, reliable services in a scalable cloud

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering with production services.
• Hands-on security infra experience: IAM, authN/authZ, secrets management.
• Knowledge of common vulnerability classes and secure design.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate core security services including authentication, authorization, access governance, secrets management, and privileged access across environments.
• Own the identity infrastructure end-to-end, including SSO and SCIM.
• Develop secure-by-default libraries and self-service tooling for engineering teams.
• Take systems from greenfield to production-grade: architecture, shipping, instrumentation, and reliability.
• Contribute to incident response and drive mitigations for security issues.
• Mentor engineers and participate in design reviews to raise security standards.
