Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Senior Manager – Security & Safety to lead the company’s physical security program across U.S. locations. You will drive the Security Management System, risk-based standards, and a robust audit program while coordinating with EHSS and business leaders.

You will develop long-range roadmaps, implement protective measures, and oversee emergency preparedness, drills, and incident response for a safe workplace.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of experience in security, emergency preparedness, risk management, workplace violence prevention, safety leadership, law enforcement, military, or a related field.
• Experience developing or implementing enterprise physical security programs, standards, or management systems.
• Experience communicating with and influencing senior leaders in an organization.
• Experience conducting risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies.
• Experience developing training programs and facilitating exercises or drills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the enterprise physical security strategy and multi-year roadmap, prioritizing security initiatives and capital investments.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Physical Security Management System with policies, standards, governance processes, and metrics.
• Lead workplace violence prevention initiatives and emergency response programs, including drills and after-action reviews.
• Coach cross-functional leaders to incorporate security requirements into new facilities, expansions, and changes.
• Lead training for emergency responders and awareness campaigns across the organization.
• Coordinate security audits, risk assessments, and corrective actions to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
• Partner with EHSS, Talent, Legal and Operations to integrate security across the enterprise.
