Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead security operations at the Milwaukee facility. This hands‑on leadership role requires strong judgment, accountability, and the ability to proactively strengthen security, incident prevention, and operational consistency.

The successful candidate will supervise security staff, conduct risk assessments, coordinate with site leadership, and ensure compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Emergency Management, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in corporate/industrial security or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience or equivalent people leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage incidents, and hold employees accountable.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day security operations for an assigned facility.
• Serve as the primary security leader and point of contact for site leadership.
• Supervise, coach, and develop security personnel while promoting professionalism and customer service.
• Ensure staffing, scheduling, and security coverage across shifts and locations.
• Conduct patrols, inspections, and reviews to ensure compliance with standards.
• Conduct site security assessments to strengthen physical security and reduce risk.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and access control issues; lead investigations.
• Identify trends and opportunities for preventive action.
• Partner with Operations, HR, Safety, Facilities, and Maintenance on security matters.
