Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Senior Manager – Security & Safety to lead enterprise security and safety programs across U.S. locations.

You will shape the Security Management System, set risk-based standards, and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional partners in EHSS, Legal, Talent, and Operations. You will oversee workplace violence prevention, emergency preparedness, and threat assessment initiatives, while building a culture of safety and readiness across the organization.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of experience in security, emergency preparedness, risk management, workplace violence prevention, safety leadership, law enforcement, military, or related field.
• Experience developing or implementing enterprise physical security programs, standards, or management systems.
• Experience communicating with and influencing senior leaders in an organization.
• Experience conducting risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies.
• Experience developing training programs and facilitating exercises or drills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the enterprise physical security strategy and multi-year roadmap.
• Lead the Security Management System, policies, standards, and governance processes.
• Conduct security risk assessments and implement prioritised improvements.
• Oversee workplace violence prevention and emergency preparedness programs.
• Lead training for security awareness and emergency response coordinators.
• Partner with business leaders to embed security into facilities and operations.
• Drive continuous improvement through audits and corrective actions.
