Job summary

Tenable is seeking a Senior Research Engineer to join a hybrid team bridging Security Response and Decision Science Operations. You will monitor threats, coordinate response, and produce content to position Tenable as an authority while analyzing data to guide investments and priorities.

You will work with Research, PR, Marketing, Product, and Program Management to deliver actionable results and improve risk visibility across customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Strong programming and scripting experience (Python, SQL) required.
• Experience with data analytics platforms and BI tools (Tableau) and Python data-science tooling.
• Familiarity with security vulnerabilities and CTEM concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor threat landscape and coordinate end-to-end Security Response processes.
• Produce technical content: blogs, advisories, whitepapers for security events.
• Build dashboards and analytical workflows to surface threat trends.
