Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in project and program management.
• Demonstrated leadership experience coordinating design and construction activities.
• Experience with MS Office tools for reporting and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a workload including physical security projects, security technology projects, and reviews of Line Dept projects.
• Manage projects through all stages from inception to closeout to advance progress and ensure momentum.
• Participate in site visits at Port Authority facilities in NY and NJ as required.
• Establish scope, budget, and timeframe for new and planned projects.
• Prepare authorization documents, support materials and presentations to secure budget authorizations and contract awards.
• Lead an integrated project team across Engineering Design, Project Delivery, Construction Management, Technology, and Facilities units.
• Develop recovery plans to meet milestones and budget goals.
• Maintain deliverable milestones in project control reporting systems and briefings.
• Demonstrate process efficiencies and mitigate facility operational impacts when executing a project.
• Analyze and address stakeholder questions, negotiate and resolve conflicts.
• Analyze project risks and develop procurement strategies to mitigate those risks.
• Prepare reports and conduct executive briefings.
