Job summary

Southwest Research Institute's Strategic Aerospace Department seeks a seasoned security professional to manage division security operations in Oklahoma City. You will process division SCI, SAP and collateral security, administer accreditation, and supervise secure work areas to protect classified information.

The role requires 6+ years in security with DoD or related programs, a Bachelor's degree, and the ability to coordinate with law enforcement and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required as stated in the job posting.
• 6+ years experience in security, law enforcement, or military Special Security Officer career.
• 6+ years experience as a Facility Security Officer or alternate Facility Security Officer.
• 6+ years experience with database entry.

Responsibilities

• Open and close all secure facilities & security containers on a daily basis.
• Conduct daily End-of-Day (EOD) checks for all secure facilities, rooms and security containers.
• Provide oversight to employees' security clearances and related processes.
• Maintain DISS and NBIS programs; support Site Protection Plan and related documents.
• Assist with Insider Threat and Counterintelligence Programs.
• Coordinate with local Law Enforcement for emergencies and intrusions.
