Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Lead Security Platform Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise security platforms and automation. You will blend cybersecurity with software engineering to build Python-based tools and modern DevSecOps capabilities.

You will collaborate with Security Architecture, IT, and project teams to advance the overall security program, lead platform upgrades, and mentor engineers while strengthening secure coding practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Security Engineering, Software Engineering, or DevSecOps.
• Advanced Python development experience.
• Experience with APIs, automation, and enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of Python-based security applications and automation.
• Design integrations between security tools and enterprise platforms.
• Develop and optimize Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement GitOps deployment methodologies.
• Maintain enterprise security platforms and services.
• Troubleshoot complex application and infrastructure issues.
• Create technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Evaluate new technologies and conduct proof-of-concepts.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership.
• Support incident response and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform code reviews and champion secure coding practices.
• Automate operational workflows and security processes.
• Partner with architecture, operations, and development teams.
• Lead platform upgrades and lifecycle management activities.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to support teams.
• Participate in technical interviews and hiring activities.
