Job summary

Constellis is seeking an experienced Deputy Site Manager to oversee security operations for a designated facility in Herndon, VA. You will lead security personnel, implement policies, and ensure compliance with SOPs and the SOW to maintain site safety and readiness.

Responsibilities include developing procedures, training staff, coordinating emergencies, and reporting to management. A TS-SCI-CI Poly clearance and 5–6 years in security or related fields are preferred.

Qualifications

• Security Clearance Required: TS-SCI-CI Poly.
• An Associate Degree or higher is preferred; however, additional relevant experience beyond the minimum requirements may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• A minimum of 5-6 years of experience in law enforcement, security, or military service.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of management experience at the Captain level or higher, overseeing contracted security guard services for government or commercial facilities.
• Previous experience in procurement and human resources is desirable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows-based systems and applications (e.g., MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to keep leadership consistently informed of site activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain security policies and procedures.
• Manage expenses and ensure cost-effective operations.
• Recruit, train, and supervise security officers.
• Attend management meetings on security needs.
• Plan and coordinate security operations for events.
• Coordinate responses to emergencies, alarms, incidents.
• Review and investigate incident reports.
• Submit regular security status reports to management.
• Keep leadership informed of site activities.
• Oversee scheduling and payroll processing.
• Analyze data to propose improvements and new tech.
• Ensure staff training per contract directives.
• Maintain SOP and SOW compliance.
• Brief staff on threats and SOP-aligned incidents.
