Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or information security.
• 10+ years in IT audit, risk management, incident response or related fields.
• Experience with ISO 27001 and NIST 800-171.
• Proven DevSecOps and security automation experience.
• Ability to lead remote teams and collaborate across the firm.

Responsibilities

• Implementing comprehensive strategies for network monitoring and intrusion detection analysis using defense tools like firewalls, IDS/IPS, and host-based security systems.
• Performing log-based and endpoint-based threat detection to safeguard against risks.
• Overseeing deployment of cloud-based detection to identify threats in cloud environments and firm-utilized services.
• Correlating activity across endpoints, networks, apps, and environments to identify anomalies.
• Reviewing alerts and sensor data while documenting formal technical incident reports.
• Ensuring incident response support for network subscribers, including containment and mitigation actions.
• Contributing to business continuity/disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Working with SIEM to manage the system and tune detection content.
• Researching emerging threats and conducting regular security training.
