Job summary

K&L Gates is seeking a Senior Manager, Security Operations to oversee cyber security, forensics, incident response, and physical security across the firm. The role involves implementing monitoring technologies, incident response systems, and a comprehensive security strategy aligned with business needs.

The position requires leadership of remote teams, expertise in multi-cloud security, SIEM tuning, and risk management, with a hands-on approach to enhance operational effectiveness within time

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/InfoSec or related field.
• Expert in DevSecOps security principles and industry best practices.
• Experience in security automation and Generative AI in security operations.
• Proven ability to build and sustain productive relationships across all firm levels.

Responsibilities

• Implement network monitoring, IDS/IPS and host-based security controls.
• Perform log-based and endpoint threat detection to safeguard risks.
• Oversee cloud-based detection across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Coordinate incident response and forensic analysis when required.
• Support business continuity/disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Tune and manage SIEM; develop detection content and monitor alerts.
• Lead training on IDS/IPS, IR procedures, threat intel, and log analysis.
