Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years in security operations, incident response, or vulnerability management.
• Hands-on experience with FortiSOAR, FortiSIEM, FortiAnalyzer; Json/Jinja playbooks preferred.
• Strong understanding of detection engineering and alert tuning.
• Familiarity with Python/PowerShell for automation.
• Knowledge of NIST/ISO 27001 frameworks and compliance standards.
• Industry CISSP/GIAC/CEH or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to security incidents per incident response protocols.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and lead remediation efforts.
• Perform log analysis and investigations for threat identification.
• Administer security tools (SOAR, SIEM, AV) and ensure configurations.
• Fine-tune detection and alerting to reduce false positives.
• Assess and improve policies, configurations, and procedures.
• Maintain situational awareness of threats, TTPs, and emerging trends.
• Develop reports and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to SOC workflow improvements and integrations.
