Job summary

Samsara Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Security Incident Responder to join our Security Operations Team.

You will monitor security events, act as Incident Commander, and drive digital forensic investigations in support of Employee Relations, Legal, Compliance, or Information Security cases. You will create runbooks, automation, and refine processes while collaborating with engineers and stakeholders across the company to strengthen overall security posture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Security Incident Response.
• Strong ability to communicate findings to technical staff, executive leadership, and legal.
• Proficient in Python scripting for investigations.
• Mentor and train security operation engineers.
• Lead during security incidents with cross-team coordination.
• Experience with macOS/Windows/Linux forensics.
• Experience using SIEM tools for log reviews.
• Cloud security experience (AWS, GCP).
• US Pacific Time Zone residency required.
• On-call rotation availability.

Responsibilities
